Madeline Sharp is a passionate and energetic dancer, choreographer, and teacher from Southern California.

Ms. Sharp holds her B.A. in Dance and Psychology from Loyola Marymount University, where she graduated Cum Laude and with NHSDA Dance Honors. She also holds her Secondary Education Credential in Physical Education from LMU and a 200 HR Master Practitioner Certification in Motif Notation from the Language of Dance Centre.

As a performer, Ms. Sharp has danced in works by Micaela Taylor (The TL Collective), Pat Taylor (JazzAntigua), Laura Ann Smyth, Bernard Brown, Aszure Barton, Amy Hall Garner, Kristen Smiarowski, Jerome Alexander, and Noelle (Menard) Robinson, among others. Currently, Ms. Sharp is performing with JazzAntiqua Dance Ensemble, under the direction of Pat Taylor.

Ms. Sharp is thrilled to join the team of educators at New West! Previously, she was a Dance Teacher at Marina Del Rey Middle School Performing Arts Magnet. She has also coached high school dance teams and taught Tap at summer intensives.
