Madeline Sharp is a passionate and energetic dancer, choreographer, and teacher from Orange County, CA. Ms. Sharp holds her B.A. in Dance and Psychology from Loyola Marymount University where she graduated Cum Laude and with NHSDA Dance Honors.

Ms. Sharp began teaching High School Dance at New West in Fall 2023, and is thrilled to continue teaching here! Previously, she was a middle school dance teacher in LAUSD, coached high school dance teams, and taught Tap at summer intensives.

Currently, Ms. Sharp is a dancer with JazzAntiqua Dance & Music Ensemble under the direction of Ms. Pat Taylor (founded in 1993). Some dance-related highlights include dancing in Micaela Taylor’s DRIFT, performing at the Marina Del Rey Summer Concert Series, studying Jazz dance & Jazz history with Laura Smyth, dancing for a proposal for LA's 2028 Olympics Opening Ceremony, and getting certified in Motif Notation (the written language of dance!).
