Bekah Leithart
Music
Mrs. Leithart joined New West in 2021. She holds a Bachelors of Music Education from Samford University. The concentration of her study was on vocal/ choral literature and special education. She is trained in teaching Band, Choir, Orchestra, General music, and theory. In her own performance, Mrs. Leithart has performed with several world renown choirs and ensembles.
Mrs. Leithart has a passion for strengthening her ensembles by strengthening individual musicianship. She believes that an informed musician is a successful musician. Mrs. Leithart uses a combination of pedagogical styles, pulling on her experiences as a performer and teacher, to help her students succeed. She believes in creating a safe place for student learning and exploration. Mrs. Leithart's individualized instruction and classroom management ensure that each student will be able to achieve their individual goals and strengthen their talents.
