Virtual Open House
Due to COVID-19, Open House will be held via live webinar for the 2021–2022 school year.
Pre-registration is required due to limited access per session. You may pre-register by clicking here.
Parents or legal guardians are encouraged to view one of the Open House sessions as vital information about our school philosophy, course offerings, and student and family expectations are discussed. Students are encouraged to view the presentation, but not required. All prospective families are welcome!
Virtual Open House Date & Times
January 30, 2021
Session 1: 9:00 am | Session 2: 10:00 am | Session 3: 11:00 am
Each session will cover all New West Charter programs: Middle School, High School, and NWC+.
February 12, 2021 4:00 pm All applications must be submitted before the application deadline. For those families who did not "attend" an Open House and/or did not turn in an application by the deadline, you may submit an application to our Waitlist. Our Waitlist application will be posted on February 12 at 5:00 pm.
February 15–19, 2021 | Via Email By 2:00 pm
Due to current health safety concerns, we are canceling on-campus verification and requesting email verification instead. If you are interested in updating any of your info and/or receiving your lottery number, please refer to the email sent to you for instructions. Lottery numbers will be sent on Friday, February 19 to all families who applied by the application deadline.
Virtual Admission Lottery

If the number of applications exceeds the available space, a public lottery determines admission and/or waitlist status.
This year's Admission Lottery will be available through video conferencing only. The link for the lottery webinar will be posted here as we get closer to the event. Lottery results will be available on the school website on Thursday, February 25.
Notification of Admission Status
March 5, 2021 Admission letters and enrollment packets are mailed to admitted students.
Enrollment Deadline (New Students)
March 19, 2021 Admitted students must return the completed enrollment packet and its required documents to the school office. If the enrollment forms are not returned by the deadline, admission for that student is forfeited and an admission notice is mailed to the next student on the waitlist.
Admitted Students Virtual Tours (Accepted Students Only)
April 6, 2021 | Middle School
April 7, 2021 | High School
April 8, 2021 | NWC+
Admitted students and their families are invited to participate in a virtual school tour. Details of the tour and RSVP requirements will be included in the enrollment pack sent to all admitted students.
Students Admitted from Waitlist
Students on the waitlist are notified by phone if a space becomes available starting in June. If the enrollment packet and required documents are not returned by the deadline noted on the admissions email, admission for that student is forfeited and an admission letter and enrollment pack is sent to the next student on the waitlist.
