Open House

We highly recommend that parents or legal guardians attend the Open House so they may learn about our school philosophy, course offerings, and student and family expectations. All prospective families are welcome!

Application & Application Deadline

All applications must be submitted by the application deadline: Wednesday, February 19, 2025 by 5:00 pm

If you missed the application deadline, you may get on our Waitlist (see below).

 


Waitlist

For those families who did not turn in an admissions application by the application deadline, you may be added to our Waitlist.

 


Verification Period

Tuesday, February 18, through Thursday, February 20, 2025

Due to health safety concerns, we are canceling on-campus verification and requesting email verification instead. If you are interested in updating any of your info , please email admissions@newwestcharter.org. Lottery numbers will be sent on Friday, February 21, 2025, by 5:00 pm to all families who applied by the application deadline.

 


Virtual Admission Lottery

Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 5:00 pm
This year's lottery will be held online via Zoom.

If the number of applications exceeds the available spaces, a public lottery determines admission and/or waitlist status. The lottery will take place virtually and all applicants are able to watch the lottery live on our website, though it’s not required for admission. Lottery numbers will be posted to our website the following day.

 


Notification of Admission Status

Mrs. Hill will follow up with admitted families in March via email.

 


Enrollment Deadline (New Students)

Saturday, March 8, 2025 Admitted students must return the completed enrollment packet and its required documents to the school office. If the enrollment forms are not returned by the deadline, admission for that student is forfeited and an admission notice is mailed to the next student on the waitlist.

 


Admitted Students Tours (Accepted Students Only)

Families who have been admitted will receive more information via email.

 


Students Admitted from Waitlist

Students on the waitlist are notified by phone if a space becomes available starting in early Spring. If the enrollment packet and required documents are not returned by the deadline noted on the admissions email, admission for that student is forfeited and an admission letter and enrollment pack is sent to the next student on the waitlist.
