Hello! My name is Ms. Nieto and I am a teacher with a passion for diversity and helping students build valuable skills. I was born and raised in West Los Angeles. I got my bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Merced in 2021 and majored in English. I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2022 with my master’s in teaching! I am a first-generation student.
During my student-teaching experience, I became the long-term substitute teacher for the class I was in. I taught three 8th-grade ELA classes, Advanced Theater, and Exploration of Theater at Culver City Middle School. I loved the challenge of working with 8th-graders and I’m super excited to be with the 6th-graders this year! I am happy to be here for another year and thrilled for the new school year!
