Ebony Sausa

Dance

Hello! My name is Ms. Ebony Sausa, and I’m so excited to be teaching 6th and 7th grade dance this year. I was born and raised in Australia and earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Dance and Education from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. Eight years ago, I moved to the United States, bringing with me my love for the arts and a global teaching perspective.

I’ve had the privilege of teaching in schools across Australia, Peru, and the United States, which has given me strong cultural awareness and a commitment to creating inclusive learning spaces. In addition to teaching dance, I also teach Spanish, giving students the chance to grow both artistically and linguistically.

I just recently became a first-time mom, and after taking some time off to be with my little one, I’m thrilled to be returning to the classroom. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about diverse forms of expression, I aim to create a welcoming and dynamic classroom where students can explore different dance styles, develop their technique, and see dance as a universal language that connects people across cultures. I’m excited to meet all of my students and help them grow their abilities, confidence, and creativity through movement and learning.
