Hi, my name is Veronica Ortiz. I joined New West in the second semester of the 22-23 academic school year. I am elated to be starting a brand new school year at New West.
My experience ranges from retail to customer service but has mainly been in the education field. I started as an intern with LAUSD in the ATU Department. I gradually moved my way into an office technician position with LAUSD. I worked at Dodson Middle School in Rancho Palos Verdes for 4 years as their office technician in the attendance office. I come from a family involved in the education system for over 20 years. I am a native born and raised in South Los Angeles. I come from a family of 5 girls and I am an identical twin.
I have a beautiful dog named Bailey who I love more than anything in this world. She is a frenchie/english bulldog mix and enjoys long walks to the park. In my free time you can find me in the kitchen cooking up delicious meals for my nieces and nephews. I love going to the movies and spending time at home with family and friends.
