Hi! My name is Nicolette Reed and I am so grateful and excited to be a part of the New West Team! I've been teaching since 2017, and at New West since 2022. I have experience in teaching middle and high school English, as well as Newcomer English and ELD support and coordination.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles County by my mom and dad, with two younger sisters, all of whom I adore. I went to Valencia High School in Santa Clarita where I met my wife on the soccer team! I played soccer in my youth through college at California State University Northridge but have moved to more mellow activities since. I have an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts and received my single-subject English credential from CSUN as well.
My wife and I live in Mar Vista and, in my spare time, I love to spend time with loved ones, do anything involving music, running, reading, biking, bouldering, surfing, and finding good vegan food to eat!
