I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Growing up, I played softball and was a band member throughout college. In my free time, I enjoy hanging with my cat, reading, traveling, visiting with my family, and watching movies.

I graduated from Illinois State University in May of 2019 where I earned a Bachelor's degree in both Math Education and Music. Recently, I earned my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education in July of 2022.

Teaching has always been my dream job because I love helping others realize their potential and gain confidence in their abilities. I have been fortunate to teach nearly every math course from Algebra I to AP Calculus BC. Before moving to LA, I taught in central Illinois for three years. In 2022, I started teaching at New West. In my classroom, I focus on mathematical literacy, calculator fluency, critical thinking, logic and reasoning, and problem solving.
