Sean Coghlan
7th Grade English
Hello! My name is Mr. Coghlan – or Mr. C – and I am the 7th grade English language arts teacher at New West Charter. This year will be my second with the Eagles.
I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA, but have been a lifelong Los Angeles sports fan. I attended the Utah State University majoring in Journalism. I wrote for local and school newspapers and a few sports blogs. I met my future wife while at USU, and today, we have two amazing, beautiful daughters.
In my free time, you’ll find me watching the Champions League, Dodgers baseball, or the newest Batman feature.
