Scott Acornley

Scott Acornley is an English teacher in his fourth year of service. He was born and raised in Philadelphia and has had a lifelong passion in literature, music, and art. He received his undergraduate degree in Storytelling at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania then received two Masters degrees – one in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and another in Teaching at USC.
Before teaching, Scott worked as a freelance writer, creating several feature-length screenplays, ultimately producing one of them in the Philippines. Since then, Scott has found a passion for teaching literature, and spends his summer vacations writing.
