NEW OPPORTUNITIES

• The all-volunteer "Under The Bridges and On The Streets" program prepares and distributes food, clothing and personal care items directly to the streets, feeding the homeless population of Los Angeles. A local upcoming event is this Saturday, January 28th from 9am to 11am in West Hollywood.  Go to underthebridges.org for more information.

• The LOS ANGELES MUSCLE WALK, Walk for Muscular Dystrophy is Saturday, February 4th at CBS2/KCAL 9 Studios in Studio City.  For more information, go toWALK.MDA.ORG

• Go to foodonfoot.org to find local volunteer opportunities that are ongoing throughout the year.  Sign up now for the January 29th or February 5th events with food on foot.

• Feed the Soul While Helping Feed the Hungry! Los Angeles Regional Foodbank Volunteers are needed to assemble food packages that go to women with infants, children, and senior citizens in Los Angeles.  Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Go to http://www.lafightshunger.org/ for more information. The next Los Angeles Regional Foodbank event takes place on Saturday, Feb 18th from 8:45 AM - 12:00.

• Tree People is a local organization that has ongoing volunteer opportunities.  Go to TREEPEOPLE.ORG to find dates and events that work best for you. The next Tree People event takes place on Sat Feb 18th  from 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon.
